Job Description

Bethlehem Central School District is currently seeking applications for a School Monitor (Aide to Students with Disabilities) position, effective October 13, 2026.  Vacancy is currently at Elsmere Elementary School, located at 247 Delaware Avenue, Delmar, NY and is 6.25 (8:45am - 3:30pm) hours per day, Monday through Friday when school is in session.  Starting salary is $19.19 per hour, and upon completion of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention in Schools (TCIS) Training, candidates will receive the higher rate of pay at $23.11 per hour.

Job Qualifications

Required High school diploma or GED Successfully completed Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Schools (TCIS)  training Preferred  Experience working with students with disabilities in school or related settings Completion of training in behavior management, crisis intervention, or use of assistive technology
