Job Description

Bethlehem Central School District is seeking qualified candidates for a 1.0 FTE Probationary School Psychologist. Location of the vacancy is Elsmere Elementary (0.6) and High School (0.4). Salary and benefits are based on Teacher's Salary Scale. Starting salary is $55,805-$58,400, commensurate with experience. 

 

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Completing Functional Behavior Assessment/Behavior Intervention Plans
- Consulting with parents and staff members on student behavioral concerns
- Crisis intervention
- Individual and small-group counseling
- Psychological testing, including providing written reports
- Serving as a member of Committees on Special Education and Crisis Care Teams

The position is currently 3 days at Elsmere and 2 days at High School.

Job Qualifications

• Candidate must have New York State certification in School Psychology.
• Candidate must have or be able to obtain NYSED fingerprint clearance.
